Device Buyback Program Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: December 1, 2024
These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Device Buyback Program ("Program") offered by Summit Phone Repair. By submitting a device for buyback, you ("Participant") agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you may not participate in the Program.
1. Eligibility
- You must be the sole legal owner of the device and certify that the device is not reported lost, stolen, or subject to any third-party claims.
- Participation is limited to individuals aged 18 or older.
- This Program is available exclusively to customers within the United States.
2. Pre-Submission Requirements
- Data Erasure: All personal data must be erased from the device prior to submission.
- Security Features: You must remove all security locks, including but not limited to passwords, iCloud accounts, and Google accounts.
- Disclaimer: Summit Phone Repair disclaims all responsibility for any data left on devices after submission.
3. Device Evaluation
- Devices are assessed based on the description provided at the time of the quote request and their actual condition upon receipt.

Offer Adjustments: Summit Phone Repair reserves the right to revise the initial quote if discrepancies are identified. The revised offer will be communicated to you for approval.
- Acceptance or Decline: If the revised offer is declined, the device will be returned at no additional cost.
4. Submission Deadlines and Shipping
- Quote Validity: The initial quote is valid only if the device is shipped within fifteen (15) days of the shipping label being issued.
- Risk of Loss: The risk of loss or damage during transit remains with the Participant until the device is received by Summit Phone Repair.
5. Ownership and Payment
- Ownership of the device transfers to Summit Phone Repair upon receipt and acceptance of the device.

Payment Processing: Payment will be issued within seventy-two (72) hours of acceptance. Payment options include:
- Store credit
- Paper check
- Virtual debit card
- eCheck
- All payments are final upon issuance.
6. Rejected Devices
- If the device fails to meet the Program’s requirements or is flagged as lost, stolen, or activation-locked during an IMEI check:
- Summit Phone Repair reserves the right to reject the device.
- The device may be reported to appropriate authorities.
- The device will only be returned if legally permissible.
7. Limitations of Liability
- Summit Phone Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program.
- The maximum liability of Summit Phone Repair is limited to the final value offered for the device.
8. Program Modifications
- Summit Phone Repair reserves the right to modify or terminate the Program or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- Changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on the Summit Phone Repair website.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri.
- Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Missouri.
